J.W. Templeman (Bolivar)'s Obituary
J.W. Templeman, age 91 of Bolivar, Missouri passed away at 3:40am, Sunday morning, May 16, 2010 at Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born May 4, 1919 in Carthage, Missouri to Harold Templeman and Floy (Yocham) Templeman. On June 9, 1939, J.W. married Gloria A. Kendall in Covina, California. He served in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II.
J.W. was a self-employed painting contractor for over 45 years prior to retirement in 1984. He and his wife lived in Baha, Mexico prior to moving to Bolivar in 1988.
J.W. is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Gloria A. Templeman of Bolivar, Missouri, two sons, Jeff Templeman and his wife Terry of San Dimas, California, Jim Templeman and his wife Charity of Pittsburg, Missouri, two daughters, Leslie Hockanson and her husband Loren of Flemington, Missouri, Cheri Stinger and her husband John of Bolivar, Missouri, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Urn Columbarium at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
