Karen A Williams (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Karen Williams, 72, of Bolivar, MO passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Karen Ann Carter Williams was born April 20, 1947, in Richland Center, WI. The daughter of Donald and Beatta Carter, both deceased, formerly of Buffalo, MO. She was raised and attended school in Oklahoma and Colorado. She was united in marriage with Logan (Al) Williams on May 24, 1965, in Colorado, and to this union three sons were born.
She was saved as a young girl at an Assembly of God Church in Oklahoma, with her grandmother, Anna Hanson kneeling beside her. She loved the Lord and her faith in Him remained strong throughout her life.
She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her special love was her family and her 7 grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Al Williams. Three sons and daughter-in-laws: Lance and June Williams, granddaughters Kinsey, Megan and Amber. Lonny and Patty Williams, grandchildren Chance and Madeline. Lorin and Teresa Williams, grandsons Justin and Brandon. All of the southwest MO area. Her sister and family Donna and Don Stanek of Nebraska and her brother and his family, Jim and Paula Carter of Colorado.
Visitation for Karen will be Tuesday, June 18, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home, with burial to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
