Karin W. Anthony (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Karin Anthony, daughter of Claud and Pearl Gannanay Watson, was born May 20, 1942, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, October 27, 2014, in Christian Health and Rehabilitation Center South, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, five months, and seven days.
On June 10, 1960, she was united in marriage to Paul Anthony, and to this union three sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Stanley and Nelson Watson; and a sister, Linda Watson.
Karin is survived by her husband, Paul, of the home; three sons, Steve Anthony, and his wife, Glenna, Brian Anthony, and Jeff Anthony, all of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Sean Anthony, and his wife, Sami, Alec, Chase, Reid, Grayson, and Parker Anthony; two sisters, Peggy Watson, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Margaret Watson, of Springfield, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Irene Watson, of Lebanon, Missouri; two nieces, Kathie Wehner, and her husband, Bobby, and Susan Saling, and her husband, Bill; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1960. After she and Paul were married, they made their home in Lebanon, and lovingly raised their sons. Karin was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked as the director of the Lebanon Housing Authority for a number of years.
In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and traveling. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Karin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be made to the Claud and Pearl Watson Memorial Scholarship Fund and left at the funeral home.
