Karren S. Bohannon (Hartville)'s Obituary
Karren S. Bohannon, daughter of Willie Francis and Hazel Irene Young Truster, was born February 24, 1945 in Maryville, Missouri and departed this life on September 4, 2020 at her home at Norwood, Missouri, at the age of seventy-five years, six months and eleven days.
On March 9, 1960 Karren married Carl Bohannon; they were happily married 60 years. Prior to retirement she worked at H.D. Lee as a supervisor. After retiring she clerked for horn Auctions.
Survivors include her husband, Carl, her children; Tewana Kay Fullington and husband Gary of Hartville, Missouri, Carol Sue Atkisson and husband Steve of Grovespring, Missouri and Terry Bohannon and wife Traci Crewse of Hartville, Missouri, seven grandchildren; Justin Fullington and wife Sara, Keisha Fullington, Cory Atkisson and wife Rachel, Kyle Atkisson, Nathan Bohannon and wife McKenna, Jaedyn Dugger and husband Payte and Nick Bohannon, six great-grandchildren; Grayson, Kenley, Daden, Ezra, Tucker and Elias, a sister-in-law, Maxine Burks of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, a brother-in-law, Johnny Jones of Holt, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Dean Truster.
Karren was a member of the Harvest Project Church. She served as Missionette Leader, praise and worship leader and in the Children’s Ministry.
Karren was a gifted seamstress, painter and photographer. She enjoyed antiquing, traveling, sewing, carpentry and watching the hummingbirds. Karren had a contagious love for life, she loved having holiday dinners with her family, above all else Karren loved her family and spending her time with them. She was a loving wife, mom, grammie, aunt and dear friend.
