Katherine Rose Brown (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Katherine Rose Brown went to be with the Lord May 4th 2015 at the age of 91. She was born on August 20, 1923, in Sacoxie, Missouri, to Russell and Tommie Lee Foster.
After the death of her father, Rose and her mother moved to California, where she met, and married Bob. After the war they settled in Santa Paula, where Bob worked at the Associated Insectary, and Rose worked at Santa Paula Cerebral Palsy School.
After retiring, they moved back to Missouri and their family. They were active in the Berean Baptist Church, where Rose taught Children’s Sunday School, and sang in the choir. Besides her church activities, Rose enjoyed knitting and needle work.
She is survived by; son, Noel Brown, and daughter-in-law Linda, of Bolivar; grandson, Darrel Brown, and wife, Deanna, and their children, Bryan, 17, and Allyson, 14, of battlefield Missouri; grandson, Craig Brown, of Bolivar; grandson, Dathan Brown, and wife Jennifer, and their children Ashton 16, Austin 14, and Brianna 9, of Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Rose is preceded in death by; her father, Russell Foster; mother, Tommie Lee Foster; brothers, Lowell and Loyd Foster; sister, Ruth Hayes; daughter, Rose Marie Brown; husband, William R. (Bob) Brown.
