Kathleen "Kathy" Fritz (Hartville)'s Obituary
Kathleen Ann Fritz was welcomed into heavens gates and God’s open arms on Monday, November 19 2018 at 62 years old.
She was born on February 3 1956 in Mason City Iowa, and was the second oldest in 7 children.
Kathy grew up raising a variety of farm animals but the ones most enjoyed were her chickens, guineas and horses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Margery Dierks. By her brother Paul Dierks and by her late husband Virgil Deckard.
She is survived by two sons; Ray and his wife Michelle Deckard of Grovespring. Matthew Deckard of Joplin. One daughter LeAndra Cobb and her husband Logan of Hartville. One brother; Robert “Nub” Dierks and his wife Peggy of Grovespring. Her sisters; Jeanne of Lebanon. Becky Jordan and her husband Denny of Norwood. Jackie Norman of Kansas City and Dawn Shannon of Lebanon.
Kathy was lovingly admired and adored by her nine grandchildren; Jarret, Steven, Ethan, and Farmer Deckard. Alyssa and Damien Deckard. Sarah Woodruff and Lachlin and Lyle Cobb. One great grandchild; Kaden Deckard. Along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Kathy enjoyed spending quality time with all her grandchildren pampering her horses, attending rodeos that her family was involved in and her gardening and canning.
Kathy was a faithful follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and attended Elk Creek Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27 at noon at Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Grovespring, Missouri.
Memorial may be made to the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery or to the donor's choice.
