Kathy Ann Mitchell (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Kathy Ann Mitchell, Daughter of Roland and Mary Ellen Ruppert, was born on December 4, 1945, in Burlington, Iowa, and departed this life on September 18, 2022 in her Elkland, Missouri home surrounded by family.
Kathy was saved and baptized and was a life-long member of Charity Christian Church in Elkland, MO and enjoyed serving the Lord with her husband, Neil “Mitch” Mitchell. Kathy was a proud Farm Bureau agent who served her community for many years. Kathy spent one afternoon every week with her close friends having lunch and meaningful conversations.
Kathy married Neil William “Mitch” Mitchell on August 15, 1970, and to this union three sons were born, Ricky, Michael, and Sonny. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Cheri Moxley, and one brother, Randy Ruppert. She is survived by three sons, Ricky and his wife, Vonna, Michael and his wife, Donna, and Sonny and his wife, Teresa, all of Buffalo, MO; one brother, Joe and wife, Jeri Ruppert, of Roland Heights, CA; one sister, Patsy and husband, Larry Vaccarela, of Franklin, LA; her sister-in-law, Kathy and husband, David Elliot, of Dayton, OH, and sister-in-law Leslie Ruppert of Whittier, CA; four grandchildren, Heather Yates, Anthony Mitchell, Chase Mitchell, and Aiden Clemmons; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will all truly miss her.
Memorial Services will be held at Charity Christian Church on September 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. with Brother David Stotts officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leroy Perry, Scott Perry, and Kirby Vest. Interment will be in the Charity Christian Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Charity Christian Church of Elkland, MO.
