Kay Watts (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Kay Ferrel Watts, daughter of Charles and Ferrel Boyer Harvey, was born September 23, 1937, in Indianola, Iowa.  She departed this life Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty years, seven months, and eight days.
On December 13, 1980, she was united in marriage to Donald R. Watts, who preceded her in death in July of 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Danny Harvey.
Kay is survived by a daughter, Karla Bittner-Stoner, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Kenny Bittner, and his wife, Susan, of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Dennis Bittner, of Grand Rapids, South Dakota; twelve grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Iowa, near Marshalltown, and graduated from Marshalltown High School.  During her high school days she was a contest winner in commercial art.  Kay was also good friends with Jean Sievers, the movie star, in her younger days.  She then moved to Ellsworth, Iowa where she was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother for several years.  She always enjoyed taking care of her family.   She had made her home in Lebanon, Missouri for the last four years.
She was an excellent seamstress and loved to sing.  She enjoyed being outdoors and liked spending time on the riverbank and fishing.  She loved her family dearly and greatly enjoyed having time with her grandchildren.
Kay was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend.  We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her eighty years.
