Kay Lynn Wyman (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Kay Lynn (Myers) Wyman was born July 3, 1948, and passed away on July 3, 2023, at her home in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75. Kay Lynn was born in Springfield, Missouri, and lived in Buffalo until graduation. She was the second daughter of Oren and Barbara (Vance) Myers of Buffalo, Missouri.
Kay was saved at a revival at the First Baptist Church of Buffalo, Missouri at the age of 11. She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1966. Following graduation, Kay moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she met and married Tony Bonavia and they were blessed with one daughter Angela Bonavia. She later married Corey Wyman on October 3, 1992. They spent a wonderful 30 years together.
She worked for Southwestern Bell, in Kansas City, Tucson Electric in Arizona and Pacific Bell in California. After retiring, she enjoyed quilting. She even had her own quilting machine in her home. Kay also loved watching the birds, especially hummingbirds visit the many feeders she and Corey had. Together, Kay and Corey enjoyed going on motorcycle rides.
Kay Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Oren and Barbara Lee Myers and Angela’s father Tony Bonavia. She is survived by her husband Corey Wyman, her daughter Angela Lea Bonavia, three grandsons, Nolan Ryun, Casey Hink and Maison Hink, two sisters, Dewanna (Myers) Marquez and Julane (Myers) Barclay, as well as numerous beloved friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at Cantlon-Otterness and Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri.
