Kayleen E Webb (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Kayleen “Kay” Elizabeth Webb, 49 years old, gracefully entered eternal rest on March 30, 2024, in Preston, Missouri.
Kay was born to Bill and Carol Webb on May 24, 1974, in Des Moines, Iowa. At the age of 5, she moved with her family to Buffalo, MO where many memories and friendships flourished.
From a young age when she could barely hold a fishing pole, Kay found joy in the serene waters of her grandparents' lake home at Lake of the Ozarks. Her love for the water extended to mastering water skiing and ensuring the safety of others as a lifeguard. Kay's spirited nature led her to explore various interests, from cheerleading and debates in high school to the captivating performances she delivered on stage. For such a small person, Kay loved big, and she would be the first person to let you know it too. She cherished her family deeply and was immensely proud of each member. And let's not forget her fondness for sour candy, something that could always bring a smile to her face.
Kay was baptized at South Haven Baptist Church in 1985 in Springfield, Missouri, a moment that marked her spiritual journey and connection to her faith.
Kay was preceded in death by her stepfather, Doyle Nimmo; grandparents, Art and Liz Webb and Dwight and Betty Newman; aunt, Robin Newman; uncles, Bob Newman and Scott Mittenacht; cousin, Ron Bellshaw; and previous husband, Steven Williams. She is survived by her father, Bill Webb & wife Mary Lou; mother, Carol Nimmo; children, Kendra Lynch & husband Tommy, Jerika Vanderford, and Mikale Williams; grandchild, Tytan Lynch; siblings, Dawn Webb & friend Terri, Bruce Webb & wife Shaynan, and Michael Webb & wife Jaymi; step-siblings, Ashley Walden & husband Amos and Greg Sullins & wife Stephanie; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with a whole community of family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
