Keith Herbert (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Lyndal Keith Herbert age 71, of Bolivar passed away Friday on October 24, 2014 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas while on a fishing trip with 'Reel Recovery' cancer retreat.
Keith was born on April 16, 1943, in Bolivar, the son of Lawrence Herbert and Mildred Lee (Clark) Herbert.
He married Phyllis (McGinnis) Herbert and to this union two sons were born, Tony and Brian.
He is survived by His wife, Phyllis Herbert of the home, Two sons, Tony Herbert and Brian Herbert of Springfield, MO, Three Brothers; Lee Allen Herbert, Larry Herbert, and Ronnie Herbert all of Bolivar, MO, Three sisters; Dana Franks, Donna Slagle, and Ginger Smith all of Springfield, MO, Five Grandchildren; Anthony, Jami and husband Henry Domenico, Brady, Paige, and Jacob. He is preceded in death by His father and mother, Lawrence and Mildred Lee Herbert and His sister, Pat Morelock.
He was employed with Bramer Construction for 21 years before going to work at CMH as the Construction Superintendent where he has been employed for about 20 years. He loved his job, but more than anything he loved the guys he worked with.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting and camping. He enjoyed many trips to Moose Track Cottage in Canada where he met his good fishing buddy, Terry Lukes. His last fishing trip was to Flippin, AR where he caught a record trout the day before he passed away.
