Keith Hopwood (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Keith Edward Hopwood, age 78, of Bolivar, passed away December 30, 2016, with his family by his side, at the home of his daughter.
Keith was born on December 18, 1938, in Fillmore, Illinois, to Fannie (Cearlock) and Earl Hoyt Hopwood. He grew up there and graduated high school, before marrying the love of his life, Linda Murdock, on July 19, 1959. To this union three children were born.
Keith was a retired Southern Baptist Pastor, and worked as a draftsman for an engineering firm.
He is survived by his wife Linda; three children, Mark Edward Hopwood, and his wife Mary, of Bolivar, Paul Lynn Hopwood, of Sydney, Nebraska, Marcey Kay Daniel, and her husband Scott, of Bolivar; Grandchildren, Rachel Campbell, and her husband Jason, Leah Gooley, and her husband Michael, Seth Hopwood, Cassandra Hopwood, Kirsten Daniel, Abigail Daniel, Neeley Daniel, Davis Daniel; two great-grandchildren, Sydney Campbell and Cooper Campbell.
A memorial for Keith will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Wellspring Baptist Church, in Bolivar.
