Keith Truett Parminter (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Keith Turett Parminter passed away on Monday evening June 19, 2023 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, MO. after a short illness with his daughters by his bedside. He was born April 3, 1929 to Edgar and Lois Parminter of Lockwood, MO. Keith Loved his church, his family, and life in the Bolivar community where he was manager / owner of Bolivar Milling Company. He loved fishing, hunting, and tending his lawn. Keith was a longtime member of the Bolivar Rotary Club and a 60 year member of the American Legion. He was on the Board of the Missouri extension Center. He served in the Us Army during the Korean Conflict where he was injured, in the head, by shrapnel from an artillery shell, 17 days before the armistice was signed. Keith will be loving remembered by his daughters Kathy Sears of Springfield, MO, Terry Spears and husband Pete of Ballwin, MO; two grandsons Brian Brown of Springfield, MO and Patrick Sears and wife Rachel of Washington D.C. He is survived by his sisters Evelyn Barnard and husband Richard of Lees Summit, MO and David Parminter and wife Barbara of Madison, WI.
Keith's family wishes to thank the staff at the Missouri Veterans Home for their kindness and wonderful care given to Keith during his six and and half years at the facility. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bolivar Rotary Club or the American Legion.
