Keith Taylor (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Keith Neil Taylor, age 94 of Aldrich, MO, departed this life on March 8, 2015 at Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, MO with the love of his family around him.
Keith was born in Aldrich, MO to Homer and Tillie (Neil) Taylor on June 25, 1920. Keith was a member of the Aldrich Christian Church in Aldrich, MO. On April 19, 1940, Keith and Ruth Rowan were united in marriage in Greenfield, MO. To this union one son, Gene Keith and two daughters, Judy Ann and Cindy Lee, were born.
Keith was a farmer (dairy, cattle, and row crops), a USPS rural letter carrier, both fulltime and as a substitute for over 30 years and also worked for the ASCS office in Polk County, MO. He enjoyed and took great care of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchild. Keith served as the Treasurer of the Marion C. Early school board when the present gymnasium was built and proudly talked about signing the check that built it. Keith enjoyed hunting quail, pheasants, wild turkey, and whitetail deer, and fishing for walleye. His kids and grandkids are honored to carry on #taylorswag.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Tillie, wife, Ruth, infant brother, Leonard, his brother, Emerson, his sister, Mary Lee, his son, Gene, and his son-in-law, R.J. Serls. He is survived by his daughters, Judy Serls, of Bolivar, MO, and Cindy Taylor, of Clarksville, TN, grandchildren Beth (Tim) Francka of Bolivar, MO, Brian (Sonya) Taylor of Aldrich, MO, Amy (Brian) Thompson of Bolivar, MO, and Natalie (Paul) Gilmore of Aldrich, MO, great-grandchildren Samantha Francka of Springfield, MO, Tiffany (Tanner) Corum of Brighton, MO, Keith Elliott Taylor of Springfield, MO, Micheal Taylor of Aldrich, MO, Tabitha Francka of Bolivar, MO, Bryant Taylor (BLT) of Aldrich, MO, Shelby Gilmore of Aldrich, MO, Alyson Thompson of Bolivar, MO, Austin Gilmore of Aldrich, MO, Lauren Taylor of Aldrich, MO, Katelyn Gilmore of Aldrich, MO, and Jaxon Thompson of Bolivar, MO, and great-great-grandson, Clay Brian Corum of Brighton, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
