Kelly L. Dudley (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Kelly Lynwood Dudley was born on December 6, 1957, to Darrell and Roby Lynn Dudley and passed away quietly at his home in Halfway, MO on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
Kelly graduated from Kickapoo High School in Springfield, MO. In those years, and the following, he learned the trade of welding. A trade he would use and teach to others for the rest of his life. As most people would say, he was one of the best welders they had ever seen. Over the years he taught many how to fit and weld stainless steel. He enjoyed watching them learn and do well in the craft that made him a living. He found great joy in knowing it would make them a good living too.
On June 28, 1980, Kelly was united in marriage to the love of his life, Connie Harmon, in Halfway, MO and together they shared almost 44 years. He loved his family and friends. One of his greatest joys was having them together. He liked to laugh, and he had a great talent for telling stories and jokes to make others laugh. We lost one of the best storytellers ever. Kelly was a man with many nicknames; Papa Bear, Jethro, and Dud just to name a few.
Kelly is survived by his wife Connie of the home; two brothers, Brian & wife Lou and Sean & wife Pam; one sister, Amanda Osborn; and several nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home.
