Kelly Nash's Obituary
Kelly Eugene Nash, age 57, of Fair Play Missouri, departed this life on Saturday night, December 31, 2011 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Kelly was born on January 26, 1954 in Wagner, South Dakota the son of Claude Eugene Nash and Helen Marie (Branaugh) Nash.
Kelly?s father Claude worked in road construction, which required the family to move around the country following the work. Kelly said that he went to thirteen different schools, while this may be a stretch, it was certain that he attended to several. While the family lived in Adrian, Missouri, Kelly graduated from Adrian High School.
Kelly was a man of many talents and interests. He was in road construction with his father for most of his career. He could operate heavy equipment, work with his hands, or fix what was broken, no job to large, nor a job to small, Kelly was up for the task. Kelly attended the Harvest Assembly Of God in Fair Play, Missouri, and he knew our Savior well. Kelly loved motorcycles, especially a Harley Davidson. Springtime was riding weather and ride he did. He enjoyed the outdoors, taking advantage of all the wildlife and wonder that it displayed; hunting squirrels and deer in the fall was of high priority. Kelly loved to fish; he enjoyed taking the boat out, or simply sitting on a creek bank casting a line. It wasn?t the catch that mattered to him, but the time spent relaxing in God?s country. Kelly was a selfless man; he genuinely cared for others beyond himself, he would go out of his way to help those in need.
On October 20, 1994 he was united in marriage to Temee Sutton. While no children were born from this union, both Kelly and Temee had children of their own, loving and caring for each other?s children, as they were their own.
Kelly is preceded in death by his father, Claude E. Nash and a sister Carolyn Nash.
Surviving is his wife; Temee Nash of the home, four children; Jeremy Nash and his wife Robin of Adrian, Missouri, Billy Spencer and his wife Eva of Fair Play, Missouri, Lance Spencer of Licking, Missouri, and Kasey Bayer of Stockton, Missouri, a brother; Max Nash of Stockton, Missouri, and six grandchildren; Josh Spencer of Stockton, Missouri, Wyatt Nash of Adrian, Missouri, Briar Nash of Adrian, Missouri, Eli Spencer of Fair Play, Missouri, Gideon Spencer of Fair Play, Missouri, and Xander Spencer of Fair Play, Missouri.
Kelly?s wishes were to have cremation. A celebration of his life will be held, but services are pending at this time. Please check back for further information.
