He departed this life Friday, May 5, 2006, near his home, in the Linn Creek, Missouri area, at the age of seventy years, two months, and twenty-seven days. His parents, and a brother, Francis E. Brown, preceded him in death. Kenneth is survived by a dear friend, Wallace R. Gibbons, of the home; a brother, Donald Brown, of North Platte, Nebraska; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Brown, of Denver, Colorado; a niece, Linda Kissinger, of North Platte, Nebraska; three nephews, Terry Brown, and Kent Brown, both of North Platte, Nebraska and Paul Weishapl of Denver, Colorado; as well as other relatives and many friends. He was born and raised in Cambridge, Nebraska, and graduated from Cambridge High School. After graduating, he worked as a seismologist, and then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked for Midwest Hardwood and for the Ramsey Corporation. After moving to the Lake of the Ozarks later in his life, he worked as an electrician for Union Electric until retiring in 1998. He was very active in the Camden County Senior Citizens Center, and was named King of the senior citizen center during the Dogwood Festival in March of 2006. He had also been a member of the Warson Woods Lions Club for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards and water skiing, having taught many people how to ski throughout the years. He had a great love for animals, especially dogs, and always went out of his way to help dogs. Kenneth will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and many friends. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he made for those that knew and loved him. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, May 9, 2006, from 6 - 8:00 p.m. in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton.
