Kenneth F Crosser (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Kenneth Frederick Crosser, son of Kenneth and Mary Hasten Crosser, was born November 10, 1931 in Evansville, Indiana and departed this life on January 24, 2018 in his home near Mansfield, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years, two months, and fourteen days.
On August 18, 1957 he was united in marriage to Joyce Elaine Beem, and to this union five children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald, and sister, Joyce.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of sixty years, Joyce, of the home; four sons, Curtis Crosser and wife, Janice, of Marshfield, Missouri, Mark Crosser and wife, Angela, of Mansfield, Chris Crosser and wife, Jamie, of Clinton, Missouri, Timothy Crosser of Mansfield; daughter, Lucinda Crosser of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren other relatives and many friends.
He was born and raised in Evansville where he graduated from Reitz High School in 1950. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1951 where he served his country faithfully during the Korean War. He moved to Springfield, Missouri in 1956, where he enrolled in Central Bible Institution graduating with a Bachelor’s of Art in Bible in 1960. He worked at Zenith Corporation in Springfield for 23 years.
Kenneth accepted Christ as his personal savior on November 4, 1949 and had attended the Highway of Holiness Church.
In his spare time, he loved watching and playing basketball and was a huge Indiana Hoosiers’ fan.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and are comforted knowing that he is at peace and in the company of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
