Kenneth Dean Jones (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Kenneth Dean Jones, son of Archie Lee and Betty J. Boston Hicks, was born September 9, 1969, in San Bernardino, California. He departed this life Saturday, October 12, 2013, near Phillipsburg, Missouri, at the age of forty-four years, one month, and three days.
On July 30, 2005, he was united in marriage to Sarah Sue Webster.
His parents preceded him in death.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sarah, of Pilot Knob, Missouri; three children, Amathyst Jones, Kenneth Jones, Jr., and Jasmine Jones; seven brothers, Archie Hicks, of Conway, Missouri, Stanley Ray Hicks, of Lebanon, Missouri, Wayne Atkinson, Carl D. Atkinson, Kermit Atkinson, all of the State of California, Charles “Chuck” Atkinson, of the State of Texas, and Bob Atkinson, of the State of Oregon; two sisters, Marie Osborn and Jeannie Ortega, both of the State of California; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in San Bernardino, California, and moved with his family to Nevada when he was six years old. The family then moved to the Conway, Missouri area when he was thirteen, and Kenneth attended Conway Schools. He continued to make his home in the Conway area until moving to Lebanon in 2002. For the last several years, he had worked as a welder for the Regal-Beloit Corporation.
In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and playing video games. He was also a fan of the St. Louis Rams. He had an easy going manner, and was well liked. His family was very important to him and he had made many friends throughout his life.
Kenneth will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
