Kenneth R. LaRose (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Kenneth Robert LaRose, son of Robert Victor and Lucille T. Stone LaRose, was born May 6, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, June 16, 2018, in his home, near Eldridge, Missouri, at the age of seventy years, one month, and ten days.
On September 30, 1982, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Burns Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Carol.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patricia, of the home; three daughters, Jana Moore, Angela LaRose Holiday, and Michelle Teague, all of St. Louis, Missouri; two sons, Michael Baker, of Dexter, Missouri, and Brian Baker, of Eldridge, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, John, Bob, Mike, and Fred LaRose, all of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister, Kathy LaRose, of St. Louis, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the St. Louis area, and then entered the military as a young man. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army as a drill sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then returned to St. Louis where he began working as a truck driver. He worked for Warner, Snyder, and O.S. Trucking and also owned and operated his own trucking company. He worked in Iraq and in North Dakota on oil rigs at one time.
He liked doing mechanic work, and riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. His family was very dear to him and he particularly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
No services are planned for Mr. Kenneth Robert LaRose but arrangements are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
