Kenneth R. Wilson's Obituary
Kenneth Ray Wilson, son of Benny G. and Betty Blankenship Wilson, was born June 23, 1982, in Columbia, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, June 24, 2006, in St. John’s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twenty-four years, and one day. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandfather. Kenneth is survived by his fiancée, Tashia Piercy, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Adam Wilson, of the home; a daughter, Christina Wilson, of the home; his mother, Betty Sterling, and her husband, William E., of Lebanon, Missouri; his father, Benny Wilson, and his wife, Janey, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Heather Wilson, of Lebanon, Missouri; three step-brothers, William E. Sterling, Jr., Troy Caudle, and Johnny Caudle, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four step-sisters, Kim Williamson, Brittany Sterling, and Belinda Sage, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Tina Langford, of Gilmer, Texas; his paternal grandmother, Lorene Fields, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He lived most of his life in the Lebanon, Missouri area and attended Gasconade C-IV School and Lebanon R-III Schools. He had worked in building construction and especially the siding business, and at Marine Electric Company for several years. He was a “one of a kind” person and was a free spirit. He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing and hunting. He also liked playing pool with his friends. He loved his family dearly and they in turn loved him and he enjoyed wrestling around with his sister. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his children. Kenneth was a loving fiancé, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandson, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he made for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006, in the Corssroads Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
