Kenny Looney (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Kenneth J. Looney, son of Harrison Aubrey Looney and Velva Moore Looney, was born March 28, 1948 in Camden County Missouri. He departed this life, August 14, 2020 in his home in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years, four months and 28 days.
On April 21, 1970 at First Assembly of God in Oakridge, Oregon, he was united in marriage to Sharon Loree McIntire and to this union three children were born. Together they shared forty-nine years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Robert Looney; and his wife, Sharon Loree McIntire Looney.
He is survived by two brothers, Luther A. Looney of Camdenton, Missouri, David G. Looney of Grand Rapids, Michigan; three sons, Aubrey G. Looney of Harvey, Louisiana, Daniel R. Looney of Lebanon, Missouri and James C. Looney of Springfield Missouri; three grandchildren, Levi A. Looney, Amanda E. Berry, and Kyle K. Looney; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Kenneth was born and raised in Camden county Missouri and served in the United States Navy from August 1965 to March 1969. He held many Jobs, but mostly spent his career as a welder. Later in life, after his retirement, he went back and obtained his High School Diploma at the age of 69. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and coin collecting.
Memorial services will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Online condolences may be made at www.alleeholmanhowe.com.
