Kent M. Bays, age 52, of Halfway, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born on May 1, 1961 in Halfway, the son of Clarence Jake Bays and Rosa E. (Farmer) Bays.
Kent loved outdoors and would take any opportunity he was given to spend time fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Jake Bays, two daughters, Amanda Bays and Kendra Bays, and two sons, Adam Jacob Bays and Nicholas Bays.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Bays of Halfway, two sisters, Janice Powell and her husband John of Cedar Creek, Missouri and Gloria Simpson of Bolivar, five brothers, Larry Bays of Goodson, Garry Bays and his wife Bonnie of Halfway, Jackie Bays and his wife Janet of Halfway, Rodney Bays of Halfway, and Alan Bays and his wife Sheila of Halfway, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
