Kent Divelbliss (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Kent Lee Divelbiss was born December 4, 1960, in Springfield, Missouri to Bill and Juanita Divelbiss. He departed this life February 1, 2021. Kent was a resident of Applewood Group Home in Lebanon, Missouri for 31 years.
Kent enjoyed being around people, listening to music, and aggravating his brother-in-law, Ray. His loving personality and beautiful smile charmed everyone he came in contact with. Kent’s favorite thing in the world was to play his checker game, which he would do for hours on end.
Kent is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita. He is survived by his father, Bill, his sister, Gwen (Divelbiss) Whitney, and brother-in-law, Ray Whitney, nephews, Zachary and wife Kelly, Cole, and Nick and wife Markie, great-niece Ari, great-nephews Davis, Matthew, and Kane.
He will be deeply missed by his family and his Applewood family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kent’s Memorial Fund in the care of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home.
