Kevin Eddy (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Kevin R. Eddy was born September 24, 1956 to Llewellyn J. Eddy and Agnes Madru Eddy in Beloit, Wisconsin. He passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri. He was sixty-seven years, three months and twenty-four days of age at the time of his passing.
Kevin spent his early years in Janesville, Wisconsin and graduated from Parker High School. Following high school he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country for four years on Johnston Island in the South Pacific.
In the mid 1980’s, Kevin moved to Missouri and was an over-the-road truck driver for Warner Trucking Company. He enjoyed being out on the road and seeing the country.
On June 29, 2002, he was united in marriage to Patricia A. Hoskins. She passed away October 29, 2023.
In addition to his wife Patricia, he was preceded in death by his father.
Kevin is survived by his son, Jeremiah Eddy of Lebanon, Missouri; his daughter, Anna Cantwell of Janesville, Wisconsin; his mother, Agnes Eddy of Lebanon, Missouri; his step-children, Alan Cook and his wife Rhonda of Lebanon, Missouri and Stephanie Cook of Oregon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Denise DePaola and her husband Steve of Villa Rica, Georgia and Louise Barlass and husband Mike of Lebanon, Missouri.
He loved football and was a big Green Bay Packer fan. He liked being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (N.R.A.) and active in V.F.W. Post #4107 in Lebanon.
Kevin was a private kind of guy and lived to the beat of his own drum. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Bennett Spring State Park on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Burial will be Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.
