Kevin Dean O’Quinn, son of Olan Harrison and Virginia Appling
O’Quinn, was born February 11, 1960, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, December 30, 2010, in his home, in St. Charles, Missouri, at the age of fifty years, ten months, and nineteen days.
His father preceded him in death.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Virginia O’Quinn, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Keith O’Quinn, and his wife, Pam, of Tarrytown, New York, and Rick O’Quinn, of Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Gail McKinney, and her husband, Dean, of Grovespring, Missouri, Lee Ann Clark, of Bois D’Arc, Missouri, and Maribeth Harrill, and her husband, Chris, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; his special Bassets, Grace and Stewart; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon community and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1978. He then attended University of Missouri at Columbia for three years. He made his home in Florida for several years and then North Carolina, while he was employed by Target Stores, Inc. Later, he transferred to St. Louis, where he became a Personnel Manager for Bed, Bath and Beyond. He was presently employed by Harbor Freight Tools as an Assistant Manager.
Kevin professed his faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He had attended the St. Charles United Methodist Church when his health allowed.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing chess and spending time with his pet Bassets. He possessed an outgoing personality and liked being with and talking with people. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a loving son, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
