Kimberly K. (Young) Al Ali (Lebanon)'s Obituary
On the evening of Friday, September 1, 2023, Kimberly K. (Young) Al Ali of Plato, Missouri, passed away in her home. At the time of her passing, Kim was thirty-seven years, eleven months and twenty-one days.
She was born September 11, 1985 in Corydon, Iowa to John Young and Victoria Goddard. She then moved with her parents to Ririe, Idaho where she spent her early years and was a graduate of Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kim had moved to Plato, Missouri almost seven years ago with her children, Alyssa (Lola) and Daniel.
Kim was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her parents, John and Victoria Young of Lynchburg, Missouri; her daughter, Alyssa “Lola” Garcia of Plato, Missouri; a son, Daniel Dortch of Plato, Missouri; her brothers, Stetson Young of Lebanon, Missouri and Dahlton Young and his wife, Angel of Ririe, Idaho; her sister, Natasha Stamper and her husband, Mike of Lewiston, Idaho; her nieces and nephews, McKinley, Bristol, Ryker, Casasia, Atz, Gabriel, Jackson and Julius; and the love of her life, Jesus Garcia.
Kim loved her family very much and her life revolved around them. She enjoyed doing crafts and sharing her talents with family and friends. She had a big personality and everyone noticed when she walked into a room. She really loved her nieces and nephews and would frequently send them care packages.
Kim was a swimmer and was a lifeguard for many years. Her favorite times were being a mom and raising her children. She was so proud of them both.
Her faith was very important to her. She was a Christian lady and was an active member of Porter Chapel Church. She was active in a Street Ministry in Mountain Grove, Missouri and assisted in providing meals for the needy especially during the holidays. Her heart was full when she was able to serve others.
Kim leaves a legacy of love and caring for others. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
