Kimberly Sue Pritchard (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Kimberly Sue Hungerford Pritchard was born September 20, 1966 in Bellflower, California to Ralph Duane and Peggy Sue Wilson Hungerford. She passed away suddenly at her home in Lebanon, Missouri on Friday, January 10, 2025. She was fifty-eight years, three months and twenty-one days of age.
Kim was born in California and lived in Oregon, Tennessee and Ohio before moving with her family to Mountain Grove, Missouri when she was in elementary school. She graduated from Mountain Grove High School in the class of 1985 and continued her education at Liberty University and Southwest Baptist University. She graduated from SBU with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology.
On September 3, 2000, Kim was united in marriage to Michael Pritchard. They shared over twenty years of marriage before his passing on March 13, 2021.
The couple moved to Richland, Missouri in 2003 where they owned and operated Rawhide Gun and Pawn in Lebanon, Missouri. Kim enjoyed working gun shows all over Missouri together with her dad Duane for many years.
In 2018, Kim started working for the United States Army Child and Youth Services at Fort Leonard Wood. She enjoyed serving little ones and their families. She had a heart for children and found great satisfaction in watching them grow and learn.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Duane; her husband, Mike; her sister, Stephanie; and her step-daughter, Jennifer.
She is survived by her mother Peggy Hungerford of Marshfield, Missouri; her sister, Cindy Clark and husband Josi of Marshfield, Missouri; her brother, Todd Hungerford and his wife Becca of Marshfield, Missouri; her brother-in-law David Turner of Monett, Missouri; her brother-in-law Charles Pritchard and wife Connie of Louisburg, Kansas; her sister-in-law Christina Shively and husband Charles of Prairie Home, Missouri; her step-son, Michael Pritchard, Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri; her nieces, Natalie, Emma, Katie and Jordan; her nephews, Garrett, Kyle, Gavin, Alex, Eli, Will and James; a great-nephew Morgan; and many other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Kim loved being known as “Aunt Kim,” a title she treasured. Her life rotated around her family and she loved spending time with them.
She enjoyed traveling all over the world, visiting over a dozen countries, and developed a love for Egypt. She also followed the British Royal Family and was a wealth of knowledge in many areas, making her a great person to have on a Trivia team. She was an avid reader and liked watching movies, her favorite being the classic, “Gone with the Wind.”
Kim had a lasting impact on the lives of so many. She will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her and love her, and she will be greatly missed.
