Kurt L. Jones (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Kurt Lacy Jones was born on February 21, 1978 to Donnie and Janis D. Jones. Kurt went home on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the age of 44.
Kurt married his best friend, Wendy, on January 23, 2004. They created a family that was his pride and joy. Kurt loved his children with all his heart and soul. He would tell anyone and everyone that would listen about them. He could reminisce stories of them for hours. Life forever changed for Kurt when he became a Papa. His Pumpkin Butt, Baby Girl, and Peanut became his new obsession. Kurt never missed a game or event. He would start out on the sideline, always ending with being mid-field cheering and coaching.
Kurt loved horses as well. He could sit for hours watching them. This loved started at a young age and lasted his entire life.
Kurt was saved and baptized, becoming a member of the Green Mountain Missionary Baptist Church on June 24, 2006.
Kurt is survived by his wife Wendy; his four children, Tatum Jones, Rickey McCaslin, Dusty McCaslin, and Wesley McCaslin; future daughters-in-law, Laci Banks and his “Shay Baby” Shayla Blake; his father, Donnie and wife Stacy Jones; three grandbabies, Bentley, Aliyah, and Madden; his siblings, Kyle and wife Twyla Jones, Kevin and wife Deann Jones, Kimmie Jones, and Tina Jones; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and enormous number of friends he considered family.
Kurt was larger than life. He had a laugh and twang that was recognizable by all. He brought so much love, laughter, and joy to everyone’s life. Our Kurty will forever be missed.
