L. Marie Frederick (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Lucy Marie Frederick, daughter of Clarence Alonzo and Minnie May Houghbun Sprague, was born, August 9, 1923 in Gorin, Missouri. She departed this life, Sunday, January 25, 2015, in her home, Lebanon, Missouri at the age of ninety-one years, five months and sixteen days.
She was united in marriage to Leonard Eugene Frederick and to this union two sons were born. Together they shared many happy years of marriage until his passing on August 13, 1998.She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Norman Frederick and Terry Frederick; five brothers; three sisters and one nephew.
Survivors include her sister, Dolly Ricketts of Keokuk, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Ricketts, Morris Ricketts, Glen Spraggins and fiancé Dawn Douglas and Gary Burgess and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Lucy was raised in the Gorin and Memphis, Missouri areas. She lived in Jefferson City for a time before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks where she worked as a head chef. She met and married her husband and they made their home in Camdenton. She enjoyed being a wife and homemaker. Lucy made a profession of faith and was a member of Eldridge Full Gospel Church. In her spare time she loved doing crafts. She made many wonderful projects in embroidery, crocheting and beading. Lucy touched many lives and her memory will linger on in the hearts of those who loved her.
