L. Robert 'Bob' Findley (Seymour)'s Obituary
Loyal Robert Findley, son of James B. Findley and Jaunita Boring Findley, was born May 16, 1961 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life on November 13, 2020 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-nine years.
On June 17, 2000 he was united in marriage to Sally Jane Triplett. He was preceded in death by his father, James, and in-laws, Jim and Jean Triplett. Bob is survived his mother, Jaunita Findley of Seymour; wife, Sally of the home; four sons, James T. Taylor and wife, Sandy, Samuel Taylor and wife, Whitney, Keith Taylor and wife, Kelley, and Dylan Taylor; two daughters, Shelby Jane Findley and Robie-Jean Marie Findley all of Seymour; six grandchildren, Lily, Lane, Virgil, Addison, Morgan, and Wyatt Taylor; brother, Kenneth Findley and wife, Martha, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; sister, Rhonda Cunningham and husband, Patrick, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; many nieces and nephews; and good friend, Dorisel Bennett of Falcon, Missouri. He lived almost all his life in Seymour where he graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1979. He milked cows for Wesley and Tony Boring and then worked at the H.D. Lee Company. From 1991 until 2007 he owned and operated Speedy’s Café on the square in Seymour. He was working for Webster County Road and Bridge at the time of his passing. Bob made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Seymour First Baptist Church. In his spare time over the years he enjoyed bowling and fishing, loved football, especially the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams, and coaching Mighty Mites football. Bob was a loving son, husband, Dad, Papa, Papaw, brother, uncle, and a caring friend. Although he left us too soon, we have many wonderful and funny memories that we will always cherish.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sally Findley Family and left at Seymour Bank or Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
