Lan L. Price (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Lan LeBaron Price, son of Norman LaVar and Loyce Francine Johnson Price, was born March 7, 1962, in Sacramento, California. He departed this life Sunday, May 10, 2015, in an ATV accident, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, at the age of fifty-three years, two months, and four days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Merle Johnson; his paternal grandparents, Hyrum and LaVona Price; and a niece, Amber Lynn Neher.
Lan is survived by his parents, Norman and Loyce Price, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, West Price, and his wife, Robyn, of Draper, Utah; four sisters, Melissa Jackson, and her husband, Ira, of South Jordan, Utah, Mindi Russell, and her husband, Tommy, Loretta Aubrey, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Alicia Raymond, and her husband, Travis, of Kennesaw, Georgia; several special nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Tucson and Thatcher, Arizona where he learned how to live. After high school he made his way to Salt Lake City, Utah, and eventually to Thermopolis, Wyoming, where he fell in love with the back country of Wyoming. He made his way in life as a lineman, building and repairing power lines throughout the country.
Lan was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He had many friends along the way and will always be remembered as a person who would do anything for anybody, especially a family member or friend. He was never judgmental and everyone was equal in his eyes. He truly had an amazing heart and never sweat the small stuff. Although his death came way too soon, he died doing what he loved, spending time in the back country. This is how he would want his story to end.
Lan was a loving son, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
