Lana Kinser (Hartville)'s Obituary
Lana Beth Kinser, of Springfield, formerly of Hartville was the daughter of Eldon and Nancy (Preston) Rhodes; she was born January 1, 1942, in Phoenix, Arizona and departed this life on December 11, 2020, in Hartville, Missouri at the age of seventy- eight years.
Lana married Gordon Kinser and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son, David Kinser and a sister Vicky Kuestersteffen.
Lana grew up in Ozark, Missouri, but after moving to Hartville that was always home to her; even when moving to Springfield in 2017. Prior to retirement she worked as a bookkeeper at Payne Sign Company in Springfield, Missouri.
Lana is survived by her children; Matthew “Matt” Kinser and his wife Kathleen of Bristol, Tennessee, Andrea King and her husband Bryan of Fredonia, Kentucky, Elizabeth “Betsy” Kilfoy and her husband Jay of Springfield, Missouri and Josh Kinser and his wife Lynn of Clay, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Jane Tinker of Sparta, Missouri, a brother, Robert Rhodes of Ozark, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lana was a gifted painter, she loved to read and travel. She enjoyed learning about different countries and she even visited many of the countries she studied.
Lana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the many special memories she created.
