Larry J. Atkinson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Larry Jones Atkinson of Conway, Missouri was born in Burlington, Iowa to Peter Jones Atkinson and Wanda Shirley (Burtin) Atkinson of Conway Missouri on October 5th, 1941, and departed this life into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on April 25th, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the ageof 84 years, 6 months nad 20 days of age.
On August 20th, 1968, he was united in marriage to the love of his life and best friend, Victoria Ann (Mann) Atkinson and to this union 3 daughters were born.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, an infant child, a granddaughter, Madison Victoria Williams, a brother, Guy Atkinson, a sister-in-law, Bonnie Atkinson, brother-in-law, Lennie Essary, and niece, Starlyn Joy Newton.
Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Victoria Atkinson of the home; Daughters, Kimberly (Bradley) Mayberry of St. Clair, Missouri, Kristina Crosby and Kathleen (Paul) Kramer of Conway, Missouri. Grandchildren, Braeden Christopher Jones Mayberry, Breanna Elizabeth Louise Mayberry, Zachary Wayne Williams and Jacob Allen Williams. Brothers, Jerry Atkisson of Kearney, Missouri, Donald (Carolyn) Atkinson of Conway, Missouri, and Joyce Essary of Lebanon, Missouri.
Larry was a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years, a member of the Lebanon Area Gideon’s and a Deacon at Second Baptist Church in Lebanon, Missouri.
Larry accepted the Lord at an early age and was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord.
Larry was a loving husband, father, son and brother. His main occupation was a home framer for more than 40 years in the Lebanon and Lake of the Ozarks area. Larry donated his time for several years to the Constructors for Christ Mission.
A special note of thanks goes to the Barnes Jewish Hospital Oncology unit (Dr. Melissa Reimers, Courtney Porter, Nurse Practioner and Laura Bishop, Nurse Manager).
Graveside services will be private and under the direction of Holmon-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lebanon Area Gideon’s or Second Baptist Church, Lebanon, Missouri and may be left at the funeral home.
