Larry Blankenship (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Larry L. Blankenship was born September 8, 1957 in Lebanon, Missouri to Lee Blankenship and Violet Hicks Blankenship. He departed this life Friday, April 17, 2026 at his home in Lebanon. He was sixty-eight years, seven months and nine days of age.
Larry lived in Lebanon his whole life and was valued in the boat manufacturing industry in Lebanon. He was employed with Lowe Boats, Tracker Boats for fifteen years, G-3 Boats and Voyager Boats for twenty-three years.
On December 21, 1996, Larry was united in marriage to Diana Brillhart. They shared many good memories before she passed away February 19, 2022.
In addition to his loving wife, Diana, Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Violet; his brothers, David, Dale, Bryant and Darrell Blankenship; and two sisters, Leann Blankenship and Betty Sterling.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Tasha Castaneda and her husband Joe of Belton, Missouri, Tara Nutt and her husband Jerry of Butler, Missouri, and Etta Zent of Clinton, Missouri; his sons, Phillip Jones and his wife Heather of Butler, Missouri, Perry Zent of Butler, Missouri, Dustin Kramer and Jason Kramer, both of Springfield, Missouri, and Jason Stepp of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Don Blankenship and Wayne Blankenship, both of Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Bonnie Stahl, Joan Elam and Becky Sterling, all of Lebanon, Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Larry enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He liked hanging out with his family and was always the life of the party. He played the guitar and would frequently play for others.
Larry was a loving and caring person and his door was open to anyone. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
A Memorial to the Mt. Carney Cemetery has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
