Larry Bogart (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Larry Gene Bogart, son of Harry Elwood and Bertha Bernice Todd Bogart, was born November 10, 1951 in Mountain Grove, Missouri and departed this life on October 27, 2017 in his home near Mansfield, Missouri at the age of sixty-five years, eleven months, and sixteen days.
On January 31, 1970 he was united in marriage to Ragena Loetta Asher and to this union two children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Roger Lee Bogart.
Larry is survived by his wife, Jeannie, of the home; son, Mike Bogart and wife, Danae, of Mansfield; daughter, Wendy Bogart of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Nathan Bogart, Calista Bogart, Rashawnda Sullivan, Shay Jackson and Derek Herrell; four great-grandchildren, Mallory Sullivan, Mylee Sullivan, Weston Sullivan, and Georgia Bogart; brother, Harry Ray Bogart and wife, Jane, of Foristell, Missouri; mother-in-law, Ruth Ellis of Seymour, Missouri; nieces, nephews, uncles, an aunt and many, many friends.
He was born in Mountain Grove, but lived his entire life in Mansfield and attended Mansfield schools. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army and was a truck driver all his adult life.
Larry had made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago, and was a member of Mansfield First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Mansfield Masonic Lodge #543 A.F & A.M.
In his spare time, he loved playing music and enjoyed truck shows, hot rods and riding motorcycles.
Larry was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, nephew, son-in-law and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will always treasure the many special times we had with him.
