Larry Chambers (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Larry Dean Chambers, son of Andy William and Vonia Daisy Hutson Chambers
was born February 10, 1950 in Hartville, Missouri and departed this life on March
5, 2015 in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of sixty-
five years and twenty-five days.
On June 22, 1974 he was united in marriage to Diana Lakey and to this union
two children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Joe Chambers.
Larry is survived by his wife of over forty years, Diana of the home; son, Jeffery
Chambers and his wife, Twila of Norwood, Missouri; daughter, Lisa Chambers of
Rock Hill, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jayden and Jordan Chambers of Norwood,
Missouri; sister, Mary Lou Mitchell and husband Leroy of Springfield, Missouri;
sister-in-law, Glenda Sissell of Nixa, Missouri; nieces, nephews other relatives and
many friends.
He was born and raised in Hartville where he graduated from Hartville High
School in the Class of 1968. He worked at several different jobs to provide for his
family, which included, Tobin-Hamilton Shoe Factory, Richard Brothers Grocery
Store where he was a meat cutter, and at Emerson Climate Technologies where
he was a material handler and fork lift operator for over 30 years.
Larry made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago and was a member of
the Mansfield First Baptist Church.
In his spare time was an avid deer hunter and loved to fish.
Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a caring
neighbor and friend.
We celebrate his life and will cherish the many wonderful memories we had with
him.
