Larry Kenneth Henry (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Larry Kenneth Henry, son of Kenneth and Freda Brandt Henry, was born August 22, 1951, in Austin, Texas. He departed this life Saturday, June 29, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, ten months, and seven days.
His parents preceded him in death.
Larry is survived by a brother, Lee Henry, and his wife, Sharon, of Dallas, Georgia; a sister, Lisa P. Knox, of Lebanon, Missouri; two nieces, Elizabeth Shaffer, and her husband, Matt, of Kansas City, Kansas, and Rachel Kinsell, and her husband, Andrew, of Kansas City, Missouri; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and graduated from Lebanon High School. He continued to make his home in Lebanon for most of his life until moving to St. Charles, Missouri. He worked for the St. Charles School District as a maintenance custodian for fifteen years. In 2001, he returned to Lebanon where he worked in the Laclede County Sheltered Workshop for several years.
Larry had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing the guitar, and video games. He enjoyed going to church and to work, and liked taking care of his sister, Lisa. His family was very dear to him and he enjoyed spending time with them.
Larry was a loving brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Memorial donations to the Hillcrest Baptist Church may be made through the funeral home.
