Larry Lloyd Johnson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Larry Johnson, age 80, was received into heaven on August 16, 2024.
He was born August 30, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to Lloyd Everett and Pearl (Parker) Johnson.
Larry lived in Baldwin, KS and operated Johnson’s Plumbing for many years.
He moved to Colorado in 1983 and married Beth Chrismen. Larry worked in Denver as a service/commercial plumber and then as a maintenance supervisor at retirement communities.
In 1996, the couple moved to Missouri, and he began working at C&C Farm & Home Supplies until his retirement in 2008.
He enjoyed putting up hay, working with his cattle and gardening. He especially liked playing golf with buddies at the city course.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at St. Croix Hospice for their excellent care and compassion during his 16-month journey.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on August 22, 2024, at Barren Creek Cemetery in Fair Play.
