Larry Dee McBurney (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Larry Dee McBurney, son of Larry Dee McBurney and Glenda Bell, was born December 15, 1984, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty-one years, one month, and five days.
On May 13, 2006, he was united in marriage to Brynn Leslie Clark and to this union two daughters and two sons were born.
His parents preceded him in death.
Larry is survived by his wife, Brynn, of the home; two sons, Cooper and Cole, of the home; two daughters, Dylynn and Langston, of the home; his step-father, Marvin Taylor, of Adrian, Missouri; four brothers, Justin Messick, of Adrian, Missouri, Glen Messick, of Peculiar, Missouri, Nicholas Taylor, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Larry Dee McBurney, of Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Mallory Murrell, of Colfax, Louisiana, and Bonnie McBurney, of the State of California; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Kansas City, Missouri area. He then moved to Lebanon, in 2007. He had worked in the construction business for several years, and had been employed by Hicks Construction and Dismang Roofing Company.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing, hunting, camping, grilling and swimming. He possessed a delightful sense of humor and enjoyed playing with his children.
Larry was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Memorial donations to the Childrens' Education Fund may be made through the funeral home.
