Larry Moore's Obituary
Larry Eugene ”Shorty” Moore, son of Albert E. and Virginia Ashley Moore was born February 6, 1966, in Wichita, Kansas. He departed this life September 20, 2009 at his home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of 43 years, 7 months and 14 days, On August 18, 2007 he was united in marriage to Linda Joann Conger. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Moore, of the home in Lebanon, Missouri; three daughters, Cassandra Montgomery, Jessica Montgomery and Amber Montgomery, all of the home, in Lebanon; one son, Justin “Bubba” Montgomery, of the home; and one sister, Tammy Dice, Lebanon, Missouri. “Shorty”, as he was known by his family and friends, lived his early life in Wichita, Kansas. He attended the Wichita Public Schools and later worked in the construction business. He later moved to Lebanon where he also worked in the construction field. He loved the outdoors and especially loved fishing and camping. He collected lighthouses, skulls and toy cars. He collected model cars and enjoyed his Hot Wheel collection. “Shorty” was very family oriented and enjoyed taking his new boat out on the water. He will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. Services will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday September 24, 2009 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon. Visitation will follow the service under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri. A memorial has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
