Larry Charles Ousley II (Seymour)'s Obituary
Larry Charles Ousley II, son of Mary Kaye (Dalton) Ousley of Fordland, Missouri, and Larry Charles Ousley of the Philippines, departed this earthly life on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was twenty-four years, four months and one day young.
Larry was born November 12, 1989. He was raised and spent most of his years in Mansfield, Missouri, and attended Mansfield schools. He had recently moved to Fordland with his Mom. Larry was a member of the Mansfield First Baptist Church and was saved at the age of eight on the morning of November 9, 1997. He was baptized by Reverend Mike Newberry later that same month on November 30. After high school he joined the National Guard, serving as Private in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in February of 2011. Larry was preparing to attend truck driving school in Springfield. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Larry was an animal lover and considered his dogs, Loki, Barbie and Bandit, part of the family. In his younger years, the family raised beagles and later owned horses which he adored too. But closest to his heart were his niece and nephew, Naiomi and Roman, whom he loved to spend time with, joking and playing. Larry is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sam and Brooksie Dalton. Larry leaves behind his mother, Mary Kaye (Dalton) Ousley; father, Larry Charles Ousley; two sisters, Samantha Gabrielle Herrera and Kaysha Michaele Ousley, both of Fordland; two half-brothers, James Ousley of Willow Springs, Missouri, and Clayton Ousley and wife Cathy, of West Plains, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Don and Mary Lou Ousley, of Dora, Missouri; niece, Naomi Herrera and nephew, Roman Herrera; aunts and uncles and many more extended family, relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Larry Charles Ousley II was a cherished son and grandson, adored brother, fun-loving uncle and beloved nephew and cousin as well as a loyal friend. He will be remembered as a “Big Brother with a Heart of Gold” and a genuinely loving and caring person. Larry always said, “Home is where Mom is”. Though his time on this earth was too short, he touched many hearts and lives. He created memories that will be treasured forever by those who were blessed enough to know and love him. He will be so deeply missed by all who knew him.
