Larry Slack (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Larry Jay Slack, son of the late Paul ray & Alice Mae (Glass) Slack, was born in Modesto, California on December 2, 1953 and departed this life on June 14, 2018 in Buffalo, Missouri. At the time of his passing he was 64 years, 6 months and 14 days of age.
Larry was very proud to serve Dallas County as a deputy sheriff under Sheriff Russell Hill and loved his community. He loved to hunt, fish cook, go gigging and have fish fries with his family and friends who were very important to him. He also loved to build guns and reload his own ammunition.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul ray & Alice Mae (Glass) Slack; and one sister, Paula Killian (survived by Stan Killian). He is survived by his spouse, Donna Johnson-Slack; four brothers, Gary (Wilma) Slack, Terry (Jenny) Slack, Barry Slack and Jerry (Lisa) Slack; four children, Jeanette (Brian) Welch, Brian Slack, April Burgess and Morgan Fletcher-Slack; two grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, Jacob Sorrell, Breonna Joiner, Rachel, Tylor Rorie, Logan Rorie. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, friends and family who will all truly miss him.
Cremation rites were accorded by the Cantlon Otterness & Viets funeral home of Buffalo.
