Dear Larry, my brother, I love you and will miss you. It is with deep sorrow and emotion that I am writing this. I will always remember and cherish the fun and special times we had together while growing up.
I remember the fun we had during family fishing and camping trips in Alaska when we were kids. I was always amazed at your artistic drawing abilities and the thick, full-wavy hair you had in Texas during your high school years. I used to have fun riding in your Dodge Duster car that you loved so much. Some of the most special times we had together was hunting and fishing around the Manes, Missouri area. You were a natural at hunting and enjoying outdoor life. It was also so much fun riding everywhere with you on your motorcycle in Missouri. You were so proud of it and always kept it sparkling clean. Later, I remember visiting you and seeing how much you loved and played with your kids, Shaun and Rebecca, when they were just toddlers. By luck when we were both in the military and assigned in Germany at the same time, we were able to visit each other and have fun sampling the local restaurants and exploring the culture and castles. I also remember the occasion at Dad’s house in Oklahoma when all the families and relatives were finally able to get together for dinner and pictures. You, me, Teresa, Mom and Dad… were all grown up and together at the same place and time for a family reunion. I really enjoyed it. Later, we were located close together again, and we were able to visit each other in St Louis and at your home in Missouri. I was amazed at how you had everything setup around the home like a ranch. You were always a kind, caring, loving, and thoughtful brother.
But most of all, I remember you just being the brother I grew up with and loved. I will never forget the time we had together.
I love you, miss you and will always remember you in my heart until we meet again. I wish you eternal peace and happiness. God Bless you and your family.
Your loving little brother,
Garry Stubbs
