Laura Rae Allison (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Laura Rae Allison was born October 13, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Dale and Lois Strait Waterman. She passed away in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab Monday, June 22, 2026 at the age of seventy-five years, eight months and nine days.
Laura moved with her family to Eldridge, Missouri when she was very young and lived most of her life there. She worked at various industries in the area, including a seamstress, cosmetology, and a forklift operator at Copeland.
On February 24, 1990, Laura was united in marriage to Jay Dee Allison. They celebrated over forty-one years together, making wonderful memories before he passed away July 6, 2021.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Lois Waterman and her husband, Jay.
She is survived by two daughters, Jaime Dahm and her husband Jason, and Jennifer Janko; four grandchildren, Raegan Dahm, Madison Dahm, Elijah Janko and Joshua Janko; and her siblings, Linda Cleland and her husband Harold, Clifford Waterman and his wife Marilyn and Lowell Waterman and his wife Pam; her puppies, Caesar and Lupe’; and other relatives and friends.
Laura was a longtime member at Hillcrest Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and Savior and enjoyed being with her church family.
Laura had many hobbies and talents. She liked playing the piano, painting and sewing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, reading, and gardening. She will be remembered for having a special gift of caring for people.
Her loss is deeply felt by her family and she will be dearly missed. Yet we know that she lives on in them, in their memories and in their love for each other.
Services for Laura Allison will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Holman Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, MO. Visitation will be held the hour prior.
