Laverne Marie Loew (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Laverne Marie Morkowski Loew, daughter of John Harry and Agnes Sakwinski Morkowski, was born, September 3, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life, December 11, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of ninety-two years, three months and eight days.
On September 06, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Leonard Loew and to this union four children were born. Together they shared sixty years of marriage until the passing of Leonard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Loew, her brother, John Marks, her sister-in-law Barbara Marks, and her nephew, James Marks.
She is survived by her children, William Loew and wife Malinda of Orlando, Florida, Michael Loew of Lebanon, Missouri, Richard Loew of Chicago, Illinois, and Susan Loew of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, Bobby Loew of Naperville, Illinois and Tiffany Loew of Tennessee; her great-grandchild, Lucas Tazin, her friend, Ron Ingram of Lebanon, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Laverne was raised in Chicago, Illinois and after graduating high school she went to work for Banker Life and Causality as a file clerk. She made her home here at the lake in 1980 with her husband.
Laverne made a profession of faith and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Camdenton, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed baking, cooking, raising rabbits and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
