She was born and raised in Wright County, near Mountain Grove, Missouri. She then moved with her family to Grandview, Missouri, where she graduated from high school. She made her home in the Kansas City area for several years, where she lovingly raised her daughters and son. She worked as an Avon representative and did house cleaning while also being a devoted homemaker to her family. For the last few years, she had made her home in Lebanon.
She enjoyed collecting ?what- nots? including dolls, candles and other items. Her family was always very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
LaVonna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
