Lavonne Gilpin (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Lavonne (Bradley) Gilpin, 77, passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2018. Lavonne was the youngest of five children born to Levin and Arine (Richerson) Bradley. Upon Arine’s death, Levin then married Maxine Rhay, whom together, raised Lavonne and siblings.
Lavonne married Ronald Gilpin on July 31, 1960, and to this marriage six children were born. She spent the following years loving, raising, and caring for each of them. Lavonne loved reading the Bible and was a dedicated member of the Philadelphia Church of God in Bentonville, Arkansas. She also loved her flower garden and collecting recipes to try, even though she rarely followed them. She was always adding to or changing it as she saw fit.
Lavonne was preceded in death by her parents and her four siblings. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald of the home; her children, Blake & wife Carol Gilpin of Buffalo, MO, Jill & husband Bill Sampson of Bolivar, MO, Robb Gilpin of Buffalo, MO, Brad & wife Denise Gilpin of Denver, CO, Jaymi & husband Michael Webb of Buffalo, MO, and Randee Gilpin of Springfield, MO; 13 grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney and Jordan Stokes, Hannah Winkler, Haley Gilpin, Cole Gilpin, Emily and Natalie Gilpin, Brooklyn and Cooper Webb, Jadon Gilpin, and Olivia and Lola Gilpin; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Lewis and Ira Stokes. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
