We have so many wonderful memories of Larry and Bobbie. They were the first neighbors we met when we moved to Richland, and they became, not just our best friends, but family. Spending Thanksgiving and Christmas together for the past 26 years, eating ourselves into oblivion, playing marbles, discussing current events, and laughing until we couldn't breathe.
Larry was always there with an answer for those tough questions, and tough times when life threw us a curve. He was there in good times as well as bad, a true friend, a compadre, a brother. His love for Bobbie, his devotion to her and hers for and to him were incomparable and eternal.

We shall miss him greatly.

Met Larry thru a genealogy class at the library, then later thru the Laclede Genealogical Society. He had a great knowledge of what ever he did. Sympathy & condolences to Bobbie & the Dunbar family.

Larry was such a thoughtful, kind and generous man. We were lucky to have him, as well as Bobby, in our Friends of the Library group. Heck fire, he was there first! He was a founding member of the Lebanon Laclede Country Library for which we are all grateful.
Even though he was losing his sight he continued to participate in the Thursday night book sortings, helping wherever he could; and a help he was. He was also there for every book sale helping in any way he could.
Larry was also very generous. We all really appreciated his very productive garden. ? He would bring in coolers filled with cucumbers, squash and tomatoes, complete with a salt seller. He kept the Thursday night crowd well supplied and fed.
He was so knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with those around him. We were blessed to have him in our lives.

Larry was a true Friend of the Library, always ready and willing to help with sales and other projects. We depended on him and looked forward to seeing him and Bobbie all summer. He and Bobbie also were big contributors to the Laclede County Genealogical Society for decades.
We will miss Larry very, very much!
