Lawrence F. Fey, Sr (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Lawrence Francis Fey, Sr., son of Arthur and Marie Halmerick Fey was born June 3, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, June 5, 2015, in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years, and two days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mildred Metler, and Mayme Albach.
Lawrence is survived by a son, Lawrence Fey, Jr., of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Pam Roaden, and her husband, Jim, of Lakeland, Florida, and Kim Allee, and her husband, Brent, of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Christopher Cook, Lawrence “Bucky” Fey, Amanda White, Jade Fey, and Sandy Fey; two great-grandchildren, Nikolus and Braena; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and received his education there. He then made his home in St. Louis for most of adult years, and built transformers for Maloney Electric Company. For the last few years he had made his home in Lebanon to be near his son and daughter.
Lawrence was a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending mass for as long as his health allowed.
He greatly loved baseball and especially liked to watch the St. Louis Cardinals. He had a quiet personality, enjoyed his privacy, and possessed a delightful sense of humor. He always enjoyed quiet family times.
Lawrence was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
